Go therefore and make disciples of all nations.

With missions, a little goes a long way. The heart of Calvary Missions is to support local and overseas missions in more impoverished or persecuted lands.

Your donations have reached Uganda!

Here is a message from Pastor JB (Calvary Chapel Pajule) and his congregation. Thank you for making a difference!

Two commands of Jesus to the church form the motivation and vision of Calvary Missions: to go therefore and make disciples of all the nations (Matthew 28:19), and love for the brethren (John 13:34–35).

Teach. Raise. Build. Give.

Teach the Gospel

Calvary Missions exists to spread the good news of Jesus Christ. In Borneo, we have done this by financially assisting in building Christian schools, instituting education programs in remote areas, and employing full-time teachers to teach Scripture and general education.

In Uganda, assistance is given towards sponsoring children's Christian school education in single-parent families. Also, providing infrastructure in Pajule allows the New Heritage Nursery & Primary School under CC Pajule to provide much-needed resourcing to help further the children's education.

Raise Pastors

We believe the most effective way to evangelise in foreign countries is to raise and support pastors to minister in their homeland. By partnering with Jim Andrey in Borneo, we have financially assisted his ministry in training up to 30 pastors.

In Uganda, assistance has been given to the North Eastern Uganda Calvary Chapel Pastors Association, financially supporting pastors' conferences and teaching.

Build Churches

Borneo: One of our main objectives is to establish and build churches for local overseas ministries. Calvary Parabeu in Borneo is full every Sunday with young and old hearing about the good news of Jesus Christ and raising the next generation to reach Borneo for Jesus. Calvary Missions has also contributed funding towards building a second church and has financed building stages for several other local churches.

Uganda: We are currently assisting with finance to supply the infrastructure needed to allow Calvary Chapel Pajule to provide electricity to their church building and school compound. A church build was also completed for Calvary Chapel in Lagara Village. The building is the only brick-and-mortar building in the extensive village. Such was the dedication of the building and its completion that many came to the church and committed their lives to Christ because of the witness of brotherly love.

Give to the Needy

Jesus commands us to feed the hungry and take care of the sick. We give much-needed supplies to our churches and education programs in Borneo and Uganda. We do not want to be a burden but a blessing. Calvary Missions has sent hundreds of Bibles and paid widows' medical costs and college fees for students from low-income families.

Food aid was supplied to CC Pajule and distributed to surrounding villages to help alleviate food stress caused by drought and COVID. Solar-powered Bible Proclaimers (audio Bibles) were given to CC Pajule to help those who cannot read, helping with their vision of placing a Bible in every home in North Eastern Uganda.

How it all began.

2009

Genesis

Calvary Missions was started in 2009 by Sean Zemunik (former Missions Director of Calvary Albany) and his wife, Magdalena Zemunik.

2012

Borneo Mission

After Sean and Magdalena had travelled into the mission field, establishing ties for the previous three years, Borneo Mission became an integrated part of ministry at Calvary Chapel Albany, working in partnership with now Senior Pastor Jim Andrey and his brother John Andrey of Green Bethany GPDI. Calvary Missions became a platform to bring the Gospel, assist in training and education for the poor, provide humanitarian aid, and establish multiple building projects.

2020 – Now

What's Happening Now?

Calvary Missions continues to serve where needed in Borneo. In 2020, Martin Long was appointed Missions Director of Calvary Albany, and the mission expanded to Uganda, supporting local churches in the Pader and Kitgum Districts of North Eastern Uganda. We support financially in practical ways, enabling the local churches and schools in these districts to receive and supply much-needed resources to preach the Gospel.
