Whether you're exploring faith, returning to church, new to Albany or simply looking for a church family, you are welcome at Calvary Chapel Albany.

We are a church centred on Jesus, grounded in God's Word and committed to genuine Christian community. You don't need to have everything figured out before you come. Just come as you are.

A typical Sunday Morning Gathering lasts about 90 minutes. We sing a good mix of contemporary and traditional music led by our worship team. Creche and Calvary Kids are available, and we plan to hang around afterwards for fellowship.

What should I wear?

Whatever you're comfortable in. Calvary is very much a come-as-you-are church.

Do I need to know anything about the Bible?

Not at all. Whether you've followed Jesus for years or are simply exploring faith, you are welcome.

What happens during the service?

We worship together, spend time in God's Word and enjoy being together as a church family. A typical service lasts about 90 minutes.

Can I bring my children?

Absolutely. We love having families at Calvary and can help you with Calvary Kids when you arrive. At the Sunday Afternoon Gathering, kids are welcome to stay with you throughout.

Do I have to give money?

No. If you're visiting, there is absolutely no pressure or expectation for you to give.

What if I'm unsure about Christianity?

You are especially welcome. Come, listen, ask questions and take things at your own pace.
