The Church is simply people: people who love Jesus and love one another. We are about showing the love of Christ to one another. There are so many opportunities to get involved and serve at Calvary. When we serve, we are helping Calvary spread the Gospel so more people can know Jesus.

To be a part of the Calvary Worship Team, you need to have a committed relationship with Jesus Christ, be committed to Calvary Chapel Albany, and be called by God to serve in the worship ministry.

Help people connect with Jesus in the room and online — from running cameras and the livestream to slides, social posts, graphics and Sunday video edits.

How do I volunteer?

We love our volunteers, and we are so honoured that you are looking at volunteering at Calvary! Simply get in touch and let us know which area you're interested in, and we will get back to you soon.

How do I volunteer with kids?

Volunteering in our kids ministry may seem a little daunting, but honestly it isn't. If you would like to be a Calvary Kids leader or simply a helper, we supply you with all you need. Our Calvary Kids volunteers are treasured and a vital part of our ministry. All Calvary Kids volunteers will need a Working with Children Check (WWCC).

How do I volunteer with music?

The Calvary Worship Team is made up of people who want to see Jesus glorified through songs, sound and lighting. Opportunities exist in singing, playing an instrument, sound and lighting — and so much more… Come on board; we would love to have you. For livestream, camera, slides, social, graphics or video editing, join the Media team.

How do I volunteer with media?

The Media team helps people connect with Jesus in the room and online. Roles include Social Media, Live Stream, Camera Team, Lyrics Presentation (ProPresenter / slides), Graphics and Video Editing. Sign up on the Media page and we will get back to you.

How do I volunteer with students?

Calvary Youth gather together on Friday nights. If you would like to be involved in ministering to youth at Calvary, you will need a WWCC. We are looking for youth leaders and helpers. Get in touch and we will be in contact.
